Inter Milan will work to try and find a new club for out-of-favour forward Joaquin Correa over the coming week.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews.

Inter would certainly be willing to listen to offers for Correa this summer.

Having joined from Lazio in the summer of 2021, the Argentine has never really made the impact expected of him.

Injuries in particular have played a role in disrupting Correa’s momentum since he joined Inter.

However, there would be a big question surrounding whether or not any teams in Europe would be willing to make an offer. Correa’s struggles for form would certainly be cause for many clubs to wonder and worry.

So far this summer Fenerbahce have shown an interest in signing Correa. However, the player has rejected the possibility.

Meanwhile, Premier League duo West Ham United and Everton reportedly showed a tentative interest. However, that never materialized in any real offers for the Argentine.

Meanwhile, teams from the free-spending Saudi Pro League have also shown an interest in Correa.

Initially, the Argentine indicated that he’d turn these clubs down.

However, Correa has reportedly changed his stance somewhat. He’d consider big money offers.

Saudi club Al-Shabab are reportedly among the Argentine’s suitors.

Inter Milan To Try & Sell Joaquin Correa This Week

In any event, the Corriere della Sera reports, this week Inter will try once again to sell Correa.

The Nerazzurri will continue to scan the market for suitors as the transfer window rolls into its final months.

If the Nerazzurri were to get rid of Correa, they could well consider a shock return for Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean is available on a free transfer after his contract with Marseille expired.

Moreover, Sanchez’s wages would not be nearly as high as in his first go round at Inter.

Therefore, a move for the 34-year-old ex-Arsenal and Barcelona man could allow the Nerazzurri to allocate more money into a different forward signing, in place of Romelu Lukaku.
