Inter Milan and Bologna are in talks for a possible transfer of striker Marko Arnautovic, with an agreement possible at around €10 million.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the two clubs could reach an agreement on a deal at a fee around that amount including all add-ons.

Inter’s hunt for a new striker is becoming more and more pressing with each passing day.

Now that the end of the summer transfer window is less than three weeks away, the Nerazzurri are seriously narrowing down their shortlist.

One player who Inter will not sign looks to be Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun. The two clubs are too far apart on valuation, whilst the Nerazzurri reportedly were annoyed by the Gunners asking for Nicolo Barella.

However, there are still a few names that Inter are considering. And one of them is Austrian former West Ham United and Stoke City striker Arnautovic.

Inter Milan & Bologna In Serious Marko Arnautovic Talks

According to Sky, the negotiations between Inter and Bologna regarding Arnautovic have become serious.

The Rossoblu have accepted the possibility that they could lose their talisman. And Inter have made their stance regarding a fee very clear.

Considering Arnautovic is age 34, the Nerazzurri don’t want to pay more than €10 million.

According to Sky, Bologna could sanction a deal at around that fee. That would be taking into account the inclusion of all add-ons.

Meanwhile, for his part, Arnautovic would be keen to make the switch.

There would still be some work to do before Inter can reach an agreement to sign Arnautovic.

However, the talks are now ongoing. With the clubs now seriously discussing a potential fee and roughly on the same page, the basis for a negotiation is there.

Inter could look to sign Arnautovic within the next few days.
