Four players are absent from Inter Milan’s squad for today’s friendly match against Egnatia.

This according to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908, who name defender Francesco Acerbi, wingback Robin Gosens, striker Sebastiano Esposito, and midfielder Lucien Agoume as the quartet who’ll play no part either due to injury or the transfer market.

Inter are set for one more friendly match before the season begins.

They will take on Albania side Egnatia this evening in Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna.

This will be the Nerazzurri’s final chance to sharpen up for the new season. The team have already been in preseason for a few weeks now, and have played friendlies against the likes of Al-Nassr, Paris Saint-Germain, and Red Bull Salzburg among others.

This evening’s match will be the final chance for the squad to develop their chemistry in a match setting before they face Monza in their league opener on Saturday.

Moreover, some new Nerazzurri signings will relish this opportunity to get out on the pitch with their new teammates.

Four Inter Players To Miss Friendly Clash Vs Egnatia

Not everyone in Inter’s squad will be playing this evening, however.

Firstly, there is defender Francesco Acerbi.

The 35-year-old is currently out with a calf problem.

Acerbi should recover from his injury in time for the match against Monza. However, he is not fit this evening.

Meanwhile, a few players who are close to the exit door also will not be part of Inter’s squad this evening.

Wingback Robin Gosens looks to be one step away from a move to Union Berlin. Therefore, the Nerazzurri will not take any chances of jeopardizing that transfer by playing the German this evening.

Meanwhile, midfielder Agoume and striker Esposito are also not in Inter’s plans for next season. Therefore, neither of the pair will be part of the squad.
