Inter Milan and Bologna will hold talks for striker Marko Arnautovic tomorrow.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will meet with Bologna’s CEO Claudio Fenucci as well as the agent of Arnautovic to try and work out a transfer tomorrow.

Inter’s search for a striker is now coming to a head.

The Nerazurri have less than three weeks to go before the end of the transfer window, and less than a week before their Serie A season begins.

The club have a clear idea of the kind of player they want to sign. Inter want a reliable centre-forward who is tall and physically strong.

34-year-old former Stoke City and West Ham United man Arnautovic would certainly be that.

The Austrian has shown that he can be a reference point in attack in his two seasons with Bologna.

Therefore, Inter are ready to push in negotiations to sign Arnautovic.

Inter Milan & Bologna To Meet Tomorrow To Discuss Arnautovic Transfer

According to Mediaset, the two clubs are ready to hold further talks tomorrow.

Bologna have already rejected one offer from Inter for Arnautovic.

The Nerazzurri have put forward €8 million to sign the Austrian. This will not be enough to convince the Rossoblu.

However, Inter aren’t waiting around and plan to increase their offer imminently.

According to Mediaset, Inter’s plan is to table a bid of around €10 million. The broadcaster report that the Nerazzurri believe this will be right around enough to wrap up the deal.

Meanwhile, Bologna are hoping to hold out for €15 million to sell their talisman.

As things stand, therefore, there is still a certain gap between the clubs to work out.

However, the player is also hoping for the move. His father and agent Daniel Arnautovic will be at the meeting tomorrow to try and get a move through.
