Inter Milan have confirmed the numbers that the players in their squad will wear during the 2023-24 season.
The club released a list of the numbers that each player in the squad will wear.
This evening, Inter kick off their Serie A season. The Nerazzurri begin by hosting Monza at the San Siro.
That does not necessarily mean that Inter’s entire squad is now complete.
There are still almost two weeks to go before the summer transfer window closes, and plenty of rumours still flying about possible signings as well as departures.
Benjamin Pavard is the big name at the centre of transfer links in the past few days. Meanwhile, Valentino Lazaro looks to be on the verge of a move to Torino.
Meanwhile young midfielder Giovanni Fabbian looks to be very close to joining Bologna.
And then there are several youngsters who will have senior team shirt numbers but will hardly be expected to play a major role.
But with Inter’s squad now set to take to the pitch, the players will have their squad numbers.
Inter Milan Unveil Nerazzurri Squad Numbers For 2023-24 Season
Many of Inter’s squad will naturally still be playing with the same numbers on their back as last season.
However, there has been a fair bit of squad turnover during the summer.
With Nerazzurri captain Samir Handanovic gone, the Number One shirt has been left vacant.
Meanwhile, veteran former Roma and Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko left Inter to join Fenerbahce. He took with him the Number Nine shirt.
