Feyenoord are seeking a fee of at least €30 million to sell possible Benjamin Pavard replacement Lutsharel Geertruida to Bayern Munich.
This according to German broadcaster Sky Sports Deutschland, via FCInterNews, who report that the Dutch champions are not interested in loaning out the 23-year-old Dutch international as the Bavarians start to cool their interest.
Inter are keenly observing Bayern’s search for a right-sided defender.
The reason for this is that the Germans have seemingly made clear that they will not sell Pavard until they have secured an adequate replacement for the Frenchman.
Pavard is a priority target for Inter. And the Nerazzurri are starting to lose patience considering how close the end of the transfer window is getting.
At the moment, Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah looks to be Bayern’s main target to replace Pavard.
And according to Sky Deutschland, a different player who has been on the German champions’ radar to replace the Frenchman is likely to be very difficult for them to make a deal for.
Feyenoord Make Asking Price Clear For Possible Pavard Replacement Geertruida
One player who Bayern have been looking at to potentially replace Pavard has been Geertruida.
The 23-year-old has had an impressive few seasons with Feyenoord, his boyhood club. During the 2021-22 season, Geertruida helped the Rotterdam club to the Europa Conference League final, where they lost narrowly to Roma.
Then, last time around, Geertruida and Feyenoord won the Eredivisie title.
There is an increasing sense that the Dutchman is ready to make the move to a bigger club.
Therefore, it is not surprising for the Feyenoord defender to have reportedly come onto Bayern’s radar.
However, Sky Deutschland report, there are no advanced negotiations between the Bavarians and Feyenoord for Geetruida.
Moreover, the German broadcaster explains, Feyenoord have made clear that they would have zero intention of loaning out Geertruida. They want a straight cash fee of €30 million.
