Defender Benjamin Pavard will be left out of Bayern Munich’s squad for their Bundesliga match against Augsburg amid transfer links with Inter Milan.

This according to reports from Germany, via FCInterNews.

Pavard is now strongly pushing to leave Bayern and join Inter.

The Frenchman is leaving his current club in absolutely no doubt as to his stance. He wants to make the switch to the Nerazzurri as soon as possible.

As part of his push to get the transfer, Pavard has skipped several training sessions with the German champions.

In three of the past four days, the former Stuttgart has been absent from training.

These have ostensibly been for reasons of health and fitness. In the past couple of days, the official reason for Pavard’s absence has been a back problem.

However, there are few doubts behind the scenes as to the real reason for Pavard missing training with Bayern.

The Frenchman is indicating to Bayern that he only has one priority, and wants them to green light the transfer to Inter as soon as possible, and doesn’t want them to entertain the possibility of keeping him for the season.

Benjamin Pavard Out Of Bayern Squad To Face Augsburg As Inter Links Remain Strong

Considering that Pavard was absent from yesterday’s session, there would be little chance of seeing him in action today.

Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel used yesterday’s training session to prepare for Augsburg, The coach worked on the team shape and match plan for this afternoon.

As such, Pavard would hardly be prepared for this afternoon’s fixture.

Moreover, there would naturally be some questions as to Pavard’s attitude.

The Frenchman has made clear that he wants to leave and join Inter.

Therefore, Pavard already missed out on Bayern’s first match of the Bundesliga against Werder Bremen.

It will be a similar story this afternoon.

Pavard will not be either in the starting lineup or on the bench for Bayern.
