Two Summer Signings Could Feature For Inter Milan In Serie A Clash Vs Fiorentina

New Inter Milan signings Benjamin Pavard and Davy Klaassen could be ready to feature against Fiorentina this evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the pair are entirely ready to play ahead of this evening’s Serie A clash.

Inter had a busy end to the summer transfer window, bringing in two new players.

Defender Benjamin Pavard was the high-profile arrival from Bayern Munich. The Nerazzurri spent big to make the Frenchman the long-term replacement for Milan Skriniar.

And midfielder Davy Klaassen also came in from Ajax on a free transfer.

Inter made their last midfield reinforcement of the window just hours before the transfer deadline.

Both Pavard and Klaassen have been Inter players for less than a week.

However, the Corriere notes, both players have been getting straight to work in training.

And they could already be ready to make their debuts for the Nerazzurri this evening at the San Siro.

Inter Duo Pavard & Klaassen Could Feature In Serie A Clash Vs Fiorentina

This evening, Inter will take on Fiorentina in their third Serie A match of the season.

Reportedly, Inzaghi plans to name the same starting eleven as he did in wins against the likes of Monza and Cagliari.

Early on in the season, consistency has been the watchword for Inzaghi. He sees no need to radically rotate his team as long as they are only playing once per week.

Moreover, the coach has largely relied upon players who were at his disposal last season, at least to start matches.

Undoubtedly, Inzaghi will have to use his summer signings more and more as European competition makes Inter’s schedule more frantic.

But for now, the coach has mostly given summer arrivals the chance to slowly integrate. The new signings have gotten run-outs as substitutes in the second halves of matches.

That could be the fate of both Pavard and Klaassen this evening.

There is little chance that either will start their first ever Inter match just days after putting pen to paper and signing.

But both could already take to the pitch.

Both Pavard and Klaassen have looked up to it in training. Therefore, both could conceivably play against La Viola this evening.
