Eight Inter Milan players are out of contract at the end of next June, although their futures could be quite different.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

Beginning with loan players, all of Davide Frattesi, Marko Arnautovic, and Carlos Augusto are currently technically at Inter on loan.

However, in each of these three cases, there is a purchase obligation next summer. It will be absolutely mandatory in the case of Frattesi, whilst Arnautovic and Augusto’s obligations are conditional.

In any event, Tuttosport expects all three of the trio to stay at Inter past the end of next June.

The same is not necessarily true of Emil Audero.

The Nerazzurri retain a purchase option on the 26-year-old, who is currently on loan from Sampdoria. But they will likely assess the kind of season that he has before making a decision.

Darmian & Mkhitaryan Likely To Stay At Inter, Sensi To Depart

Then there are the players who are under contract with Inter on a permanent basis, but whose deals run out at the end of June 2024.

There are seven in total.

33-year-old Matteo Darmian and 34-year-old Henrikh Mkhitaryan are among them. And according to Tuttosport, chances are very high that the Nerazzurri will offer the veteran duo new deals.

Both Darmian and Mkhitaryan have started in each of Inter’s matches so far this season.

Therefore, with the pair remaining important squad members, the likelihood would be that they’ll receive short-term contract extension offers.

Then there are the cases of Alexis Sanchez, Juan Cuadrado, and Davy Klaassen. Each of the three signed for Inter on free transfers this summer, and each on one-year contracts.

In all three cases, the feeling is that Inter will decide on whether to offer new deals based on how the trio perform this season.

In the case of Klaassen, there is actually an option to extend the Dutchman’s deal by one season.

Meanwhile, midfielder Stefano Sensi’s contract at Inter also runs out at the end of next June. And whilst the 28-year-old reportedly wants to convince Inter to offer him a new deal, Tuttosport anticipate that he’ll be on his way.

Lastly, third-choice goalkeeper Raffaele Di Gennaro is also under contract until the end of next June. He arrived on a one-year deal this summer.

Tuttosport predict that there is little reason why Inter won’t choose to keep Di Gennaro around.
