Inter Milan youngster Kristjan Asllani reveals himself as a Nerazzurri fan. He says he never thought twice when presented with the chance to join the club.
The 21-year-old is a youth product of Empoli who made his breakthrough in the 2021/22 campaign.
This prompted a move to Inter in the summer of 2022. The club has recently signed the Albanian on a permanent transfer. His contract with the Serie A giants runs until 2027.
After struggling for playing time in his first season at Appiano Gentile, some expected Asllani to make a loan switch in the summer in order to gain valuable Serie A experience.
Nonetheless, the young man insisted on staying at the club and fighting for a place in Simone Inzaghi’s formation, despite the stern competition in the middle of the park.
Asllani reveals that he has always been a supporter of the Beneamata. When the opportunity presented itself, he immediately gave his approval.
“As soon as I heard that Inter were asking for my services, I immediately said ‘yes’, because I’m a Nerazzurri supporter,” revealed the Albanian international while attending the Gentleman Fair Play Award via FcInterNews.

The 21-year-old is a midfielder who mainly operates as a deep-lying playmaker, or what Italians call a “Regista”.
The former Empoli man has thus far collected 12 caps with the senior Albanian national team, scoring two goals in the process.
This season, Asllani has only made a single appearance for Inter. He came off the bench in the 4-0 victory over Fiorentina. His cameo lasted for 12 minutes.
