The mayor of Rozzano described the stadium project of Inter Milan as both serious and concrete.

The Nerazzurri were initially planning on rebuilding a new stadium at San Siro to replace the current one. This was a project they shared with their crosstown rivals AC Milan.

However, the two clubs’ hopes recently received a deadly blow as local authorities refused to tear down the current Giuseppe Meazza due to its cultural and historical significance.

Therefore, each club is now looking to construct its own ground. The Nerazzurri are planning to build theirs in the Rozzano region.

On Wednesday, Inter representatives offered two different designs in their meeting with the city’s officials.
