Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is likely to decide on the starting eleven for Wednesday’s Champions League group stage opener away to Real Sociedad in training tomorrow.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.

Inter’s squad returned to training today after Inzaghi had given the players the day off yesterday.

The coach allowed his squad a day to rest and relax following the Milan derby, in which they shellacked city rivals AC Milan by a scoreline of 5-1.

But the team are already going full speed ahead again. In just a couple of days, Inter will be in action again against Real Sociedad.

The Nerazzurri will travel to San Sebastian tomorrow ahead of their match against La Real.

Inter are beginning their Champions League campaign, having reached the final of last season’s edition of the competition.

Inter Coach Simone Inzaghi To Make Lineup Decisions For Real Sociedad Clash Tomorrow

Today’s training session saw the team start preparing for Wednesday’s match against La Real.

However, Inzaghi has not yet made any firm decisions regarding the starting eleven.

The sense is that the coach will likely make some changes to the team. The time is upon Inter to start rotating their squad, with the team essentially playing twice per week for the foreseeable future.

However, Inzaghi will hardly want to chop and change his team too much.

The Nerazzurri coach will of course be keen to get off to the best possible start in their Champions League group.

Inter won’t want to be in any danger of failing to qualify for the knockout rounds of the competition. And wrapping up qualification early would be a big bonus for Inzaghi and Inter.

Therefore, the coach will want to balance putting out a strong team with not exhausting any key players.

In any event, Sky reports, tomorrow will be the day that Inzaghi starts thinking about his team selection for Wednesday.
