Italian journalist Marco Bucciantini feels that Inter Milan are the strongest team in Italian football right now.

Bucciantini said on Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908, that at the moment the Nerazzurri are well clear of any other teams in Serie A.

Inter are the only team in Serie A to have won all four of their matches so far this season.

This is not always an automatic indicator of a team being the strongest in the division.

Sometimes, teams enjoy their best form right at the beginning of a campaign before tailing off. And moreover, the fixture list can always play a role in the kind of form that a team has.

But in the case of the Nerazzurri, the sense is that their perfect record is a fair reflection of the quality of their squad, and of the football that they have played so far in the season.

Inter have not only won four out of four. The Nerazzurri have scored thirteen goals and conceded just one.

A goal difference of twelve is five more than the team with the second best record in the league, Juventus.

Moreover, the quality of Inter’s opposition so far also has to be taken into consideration.

The Nerazzurri achieved credible 2-0 wins over Monza and Cagliari earlier on. But then it was Fiorentina and AC Milan who they dispatched by four-goal margins.

Marco Bucciantini Names Inter Milan As Strongest Team In Serie A

“Inter are just undressing teams at the moment,” said Italian journalist Bucciantini after the derby against Milan.

“It happened to Fiorentina before the break. Then it also happened to Milan.”

“The derby is the worst match to lose, but they lost it,” he continued.

Bucciantini gave the view that “Inter are stronger than any other team right now.”

“That’s the big thing that’s true in Italian football right now.”
