Roma striker Romelu Lukaku and Roc Nation apparently split paths, with the Inter Milan summer transfer saga reportedly taking its toll on the rapport between the parties.

According to The Telegraph, the prominent agency hasn’t officially announced the end of its collaboration with the 30-year-old. However, the latter is no longer enrolled on its website.

Roc Nation started representing the striker in 2018. The company oversaw some of the player’s most successful periods. In particular, his initial stint at Inter Milan between 2019 and 2021.

Nevertheless, the relationship between the agency and the Belgian fractured recently. As the report tells it, Roc played an integral role in bringing Lukaku back to Milano in the summer of 2022.

The company utilized its amicable rapport with Chelsea owner Todd Boehly to seal a loan switch.

But while Chelsea and Inter were working on a permanent transfer this summer, Lukaku and his lawyer Sebastien Ledure were negotiating a shocking transfer to Juventus. Inter decided to end all talks with the Belgian star following this revelation.

Nonetheless, it appears that the player’s demeanor didn’t just irritate the Nerazzurri, but also Roc Nation.

As the source tells it, the agency has been picking up the pieces all summer long. Lukaku also frustrated Chelsea by refusing a move to the Saudi Pro League.

At the end of the summer, Roc Nation managed to convince Boehly and co-controlling Chelsea owner Behdad Eghbali to soften their stance and allow the player to join Roma on loan.

However, that was the end of the road for the two parties. Roc Nation was already adamant on ending its collaboration with the player.
