Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman included Inter Milan stars Stefan de Vrij and Denzel Dumfries in his provisional squad for the October international break.

The Oranje will host France on October 13 before taking on Greece away from home on October 16 in what could be a decisive clash in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The Dutch currently sit second in Group B behind Les Bleus, tied on points with the Greek. The teams that finish in the top two positions will secure automatic qualification to the tournament’s final.

The Netherlands posted Koeman’s provisional squad on the national team’s official Twitter account.

The squad includes a couple of Nerazzurri stalwarts in the shape of Stefan de Vrij and Denzel Dumfries.

The centre-back lost his starting berth in Simone Inzaghi’s squad last season. However, he has been featuring more regularly at the start of the campaign, partially due to Francesco Acerbi’s injury in pre-season.

As for Dumfries, he remains a regular feature for both club and country. He enjoyed a stellar outing in the 3-0 win over Greece earlier this month. The wingback had a hand in all three goals.

On the other hand, new Inter Milan signing Davy Klaassen will remain at Appiano Gentile. Koeman decided to leave out the 30-year-old.

The midfielder completed a free transfer from Ajax to the Nerazzurri on the summer transfer market’s deadline day. However, he’s yet to earn his debut at the club.
