Defender Benjamin Pavard and midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu will both to start for Inter Milan in tomorrow’s Serie A match away to Empoli.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper also reports that midfielder Stefano Sensi and Juan Cuadrado will be out injured.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is considering his squad rotation in view of tomorrow’s match.

The Nerazzurri were in action just a couple days ago, travelling to face Real Sociedad in their Champions League opener. And then during the week, Inter face Sassuolo in Serie A.

One player who will keep his place from the draw away to La Real is defender Pavard.

The 27-year-old made his first ever appearance for Inter in Spain.

And Inzaghi will continue to trust the former Bayern Munich defender tomorrow in Tuscany. Pavard will start on the right side of Inter’s back three.

Calhanoglu Back For Inter In Serie A Clash Vs Empoli

One player who will be back fit and available tomorrow is midfielder Calhanoglu.

The Turk had missed out on Wednesday’s match against La Real through a minor thigh strain.

Kristjan Asllani had started in Calhanoglu’s place in that match.

But according to the Gazzetta, Calhanoglu will already be able to get back on the pitch tomorrow. And the newspaper anticipate that he will go straight back into the starting eleven to face Empoli.

The former AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder has been a key player in and out of possession, holding down the midfield in a deep-lying role.

Midfielder Sensi and wingback Cuadrado were the other two players who had missed out on Wednesday’s match against La Real.

However, unlike Calhanoglu, they will not be ready to return against Empoli.

The Gazzetta report that both of the pair will be out of the squad for tomorrow’s match.
