Former Empoli striker Francesco Tavano feels that there are no real weak points to the current Inter Milan team.

The former striker spoke to Italian news outlet FCInterNews ahead of tomorrow’s clash between the Nerazzurri and his old team.

There is little doubt that Inter are the favourites in tomorrow afternoon’s match.

The Nerazzurri have won all four of their matches in Serie A so far this season.

They have scored thirteen goals and conceded just one in the process.

Empoli, in a complete inversion of that form, have not yet taken a single point in the league.

The Tuscans have not scored a single goal yet this campaign.

Empoli sacked coach Paolo Zanetti after suffering a humiliating 7-0 defeat against Roma last weekend, replacing the 40-year-old with Aurelio Andreazzoli, taking over for the fourth time.

And former Empoli striker Tavano isn’t under any illusions of how big a challenge tomorrow’s match will be for his former team.

Ex Empoli Striker Francesco Tavano: Inter Milan Have Everything

As far as what’s gone wrong for Empoli this season, Tavano said that “It’s hard to say when you’re not there.”

“It’s unfortunate because Paolo is a good coach,” he said of Zanetti’s sacking.

“I’m sure Empoli will find their way out of it, because they’re a very well-run club,” he added.

Tavano said that “Inter deserve very high marks for the transfer window they had. They lost some top players, but replaced them with equally good players.”

“Empoli will have to fear every aspect of this Inter, because Inter have no weak points,” he said.

“And Inter will have to fear Empoli’s hunger. They’ll have a strong desire to get out of the situation they’re in immediately.”

Tavano argued that “Inter’s strong point is their organization on the pitch. As far as weak points, they don’t have any.”
