Spanish Media Claim Inter Milan Eyeing Ex Real Madrid Star On A Free Transfer

Inter Milan could be keen to sign former Real Madrid and Malaga midfielder Isco on a free transfer next summer.

This according to Spanish news outlet EASTADIO Deportivo, via FCInterNews, who claim that the Nerazzurri could be among the clubs with an interested in the Spaniard’s signature next summer when his contract with Real Betis runs out.

Isco joined La Liga club Real Betis during the summer transfer window.

The 31-year-old had been without a club since leaving their Andalusian rivals Sevilla following an agreement to terminate his contract vis mutual consent. Isco had only just joined Sevilla during the previous summer transfer window.

Whilst Isco’s time at Sevilla – whom he joined on a free transfer on Real Madrid – did not go well, he has gotten off to a much better start with Real Betis.

Chilean coach Manuel Pellegrini’s side have seemingly given the Spaniard the right environment.

Inter Milan Could Be Keen On Isco On Free Transfer Next Summer

Isco only signed a one-year deal with Betis over the summer.

The 31-year-old’s deal runs out at the end of next June.

And acocording to ESTADIO Deportivo, Isco has every intention of honouring his contract with the Spanish side. He has no intention of departing during the January transfer window.

However, the Spaniard could look for a new club next summer when his contract expires.

Isco wants to stay in Europe. The former Real Madrid midfielder still feels that he can offer plenty at the highest level, and rejected offers from the Saudi Pro League during the summer.

And according to ESTADIO Deportivo, Inter are one of the clubs whom Isco could join.

The Nerazzurri have developed a penchant for free transfer signings under the direction of current CEO Beppe Marotta.

Isco made 353 appearances for Real Madrid, winning the La Liga title three times and the Champions League five times.
