The agent of loaned-out Inter Milan goalkeeper Ionut Andrei Radu insists his client is happy at Bournemouth despite the lack of playing time.
The 26-year-old has been on the Nerazzurri’s books since 2013. He rose through the club’s ranks to become a member of the senior squad.
Unfortunately for the Romanian, he became synonymous with Inter’s lost Scudetto battle against AC Milan in 2021/22. His gaffe against Bologna cost the club valuable points, allowing the Rossoneri to pip them for the title.
Last season, Radu started his campaign on loan at Cremonese before joining Auxerre in January.
Last summer, he joined Bournemouth on a loan deal with an option to buy. He currently serves as an understudy for former Juventus and Barcelona keeper Neto.
Nevertheless, the goalkeeper’s agent Crescenzo Cecere insists that his client is happy with his Premier League experience.
“It’s all going great so far. Andrei is very happy. He is working hard and has already played two matches. They both ended with victories,” said the agent in his interview with Sportitalia.
“He may not be the first choice, but Neto is a great goalkeeper. Radu can learn a lot from the Brazilian.
The Agent Of Inter Owned Goalkeeper Ionut Radu Says His Client Is Happy With Bournemouth Experience
“The Premier League is one of the most important and followed leagues in the world. Furthermore, the city of Bournemouth is very beautiful and offers an excellent lifestyle for a footballer.”
“The experience at Auxerre? They were a few positive months. Unfortunately, it ended in relegation.
“But on an individual level, it went well for Radu. He played regularly and offered excellent performances.”
