Suning Vice-President Yang Yang has reportedly left his seat on Inter Milan’s board of directors.
The 47-year-old had been serving as a member of the board since 2016 when the Chinese company purchased the majority of the club’s shares.
The official also serves as Suning’s vice president. According to FcInterNews, he is the right-hand man of Inter president Steven Zhang.
The source explains that Yang has left his post at the club as he’s been involved in the diversification of Carrefour’s business in China.
Therefore, Suning have decided to replace the official with yet another one of their own.
Suning Vice-President Yang Yang Vacated His Post On Inter Milan’s Board Of Directors
The report reveals that the club appointed Xu Yichen as the newest member of the board. The latter is also a director at the Chinese company.
This change concurs with emerging reports suggesting that Suning could sell the Nerazzurri amidst their financial difficulties.
The Chinese group might struggle to repay the Oaktree loan. So if they don’t manage to finance it, a sale could offer them an escape rope.
As we reported earlier today, Investcorp has emerged as the main suitor. Arabic journalist Turki Al Ghamdi insists that the Bahrain-based club has decided to purchase Inter Milan. Yet, it all depends on Steven Zhang’s willingness to sell.
