Referee Marco Guida will be in charge of Saturday’s Serie A clash between Inter Milan and Bologna.

The Lega Serie A has confirmed the full list of officials for the round of matches, via FCInterNews. Valerio Marini will be the VAR official for the match.

This weekend, Inter play their final match before the October international break.

The Nerazzurri host Bologna at the San Siro on Saturday afternoon at 15.00 CET.

The Rossoblu have been a tricky opponent for Inter in recent seasons.

In the 2021-22 season, it was away to Bologna that the Nerazzurri’s title challenge came undone. They lost 2-1, squandering their game in hand on city rivals AC Milan who won the title.

And then last season, Inter lost 1-0 at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, their second straight away loss to Bologna.

On the other hand, it has been a wildly different story in each of the past two times that the teams have met at the San Siro.

Inter have beaten Bologna by a 6-1 scoreline in each of the past two meetings at home for them.

Therefore, that will be the precedent that the Nerazzurri naturally hope Saturday’s match follows.

Inter will aim to head into the break with three points. So far, the Nerazzurri have had a perfect record in Serie A apart from their loss against Sassuolo the last time that they played at the San Siro.

Marco Guida To Referee Inter Monza Clash – Valerio Marini On VAR Duty

The referee for Sunday’s match will be Marco Guida.

Assisting Guida in his duties will be Emanuele Prenna and Vittorio Di Gioia.

The role of the fourth official, meanwhile, will fall to Ermanno Feliciani.

In the VAR booth, Valerio Marini will oversee the match to ensure to correct any errors by the on-pitch officials.

Assisting Marini in his duties will be Fabio Maresca.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than refereeing controversy.
