Forward Alexis Sanchez will start for Inter Milan in this evening’s Serie A match against Bologna.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews.

Inter have just one more match to go before they head into the October international break.

The Nerazzurri host Bologna at the San Siro.

Then, there will be a couple weeks in which the squad will either go off with their national teams or stay behind in training.

Therefore, for Inter coach Simone Inzaghi, the question is whether to rotate the team or stick with his strongest eleven.

According to the Corriere della Sera, there is one particular rotation that the coach will make. And that change will come in attack.

Alexis Sanchez To Start For Inter Vs Bologna – Marcus Thuram Gets A Rest

According to the Corriere della Sera, French international striker Marcus Thuram will drop to the bench.

The 26-year-old has started every single one of Inter’s Serie A matches since his summer move from Borussia Monchengladbach on a free transfer.

And Thuram also started for Inter in the Champions League in midweek.

The Frenchman was the Nerazzurri’s match-winning hero as he scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Benfica on Tuesday.

However, Thuram also suffered a slight knock in that match. The Frenchman had to come off the pitch as a substitute due to a calf problem.

The issue is not serious, and in fact Thuram will be fit enough to be in the squad this evening.

However, the Corriere della Sera predicts, the 26-year-old will get a rest from the start.

It will be former Arsenal, Manchester United, and Bologna man Alexis Sanchez who starts in his place.

The Chilean will line up alongside Lautaro Martinez.

Meanwhile, the Corriere della Sera reports that Davide Frattesi will start on the bench.
