Inter Milan drew 2-2 with Bologna yesterday evening.
The Nerazzurri went 2-0 up early on in the first half.
A header from Francesco Acerbi followed by a long-range screamer from Lautaro Martinez gave Inter their advantage inside fifteen minutes.
But Inter were not able to hold onto their lead. Bologna fought their way back into the match and equalized.
Riccardo Orsolini scored a penalty before Joshua Zirkzee completed the comeback.
As football statistics account Opta points out, it was an unwanted statistical return for Inter Milan.
They tweeted, “2-2 – #Inter have drawn a #SerieA match after leading by two goals for the first time since 24th February 2019 v Fiorentina (3-3 in that case). Equilibrium.”
