Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez is open to a move to Inter Milan.

This according to La Repubblica, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri have already made contact with the 22-year-old’s representatives, and that Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, and Borussia Dortmund are all also interested.

Mexican international striker Gimenez is a player who has come onto Inter’s radar in a big way.

The 22-year-old has had a blazing start to the current season. He has found the back of the net twelve times in just eight Eredivise matches.

Of course, there is the issue of the price tag.

Feyenoord are not likely to let such an in-form player go for cheap. La Repubblica report that the Dutch champions want no less than €50 million to part ways with the Mexican.

Moreover, there is competition growing for Gimenez’s signature.

All of Real Madrid, Spurs, and Dortmund reportedly see the 22-year-old striker as a target.

But it is for that reason that Inter are not waiting around in pursuing Gimenez. La Repubblica report that the Nerazzurri have already started to lay the groundwork for a potential summer move.

Feyenoord Striker Santiago Gimenez Open To Inter Move

According to La Repubblica, Inter want to anticipate the competition for Gimenez’s signature.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri have already made contact with the player’s representatives for some time.

Inter have been tracking Gimenez for several weeks now.

And according to La Repubblica, the response from the Mexican and his representatives to Inter’s interest has been positive.

The Feyenoord has said yes to the prospect of a move to the Nerazzurri next summer.

As far as a potential shock move in January, however, La Repubblica report that that would be unlikely.

The newspaper report that Feyenoord would have absolutely no intention of selling the Mexican international during the January transfer window. However, they would certainly consider cashing in during next summer transfer window.
