Inter Milan have confirmed the return of their partnership with SWM Motorcycles as the club’s official motorcycle partner.

The club made the official announcement, with Nerazzurri Corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello explaining that he hopes that the deal can continue to go on well into the future.

Between 2017 and 2019, Inter and SWM Motorcycles had a commercial partnership.

That deal ended in 2019. However, the Italian motorcycle company restarted talks with the Nerazzurri, and these have led to a successful conclusion.

Commercial deals of this sort have become an important source of revenue as well as brand exposure for Inter in recent years.

Whilst not always as high-profile as the shirt sponsorship deals, they have certainly had their role to play.

Inter Corporate CEO Antonello has played a leading role in negotiating and coordinating these deals.

Partnerships such as this one have been an important part of Inter’s corporate strategy under Antonello’s direction.

After officially announcing the partnership, Antonello gave his thoughts on what it means for the club.

“We are very happy to welcome SWM Motorcycles again,” he said. “Who are returning to collaborate with our club after having already been a partner of Inter in the recent past.”

“This confirms the great synergy that had been created in 2017, and which we aim to consolidate today,” he continued.

“This agreement celebrates the union of two historic brands.”

Antonello argued that “Both are icons of the Made In Italy ideal around the globe.”

“And both share a deep bond in terms of their presence in Asian territories as well as their ambitions for the future.”

SWM Motorcycles had initially been founded in 1971.

However, in 1984 the Italian company went into liquidation and ceased production.

But then, in 2014, SWM Motorcycles was brought back and began manufacturing again.
