Referee Matteo Marchetti will be in charge of Saturday evening’s Serie A clash between Torino and Inter Milan.

The Lega Serie A have announced the entire list of match officials for the matchweek, via FCInterNews. Luigi Nasca will be in the VAR booth for the match.

Inter return to Serie A action from the international break this weekend.

The Nerazzurri travel to Piedmont to take on Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

Both teams will be aiming to bounce back from a frustrating end to the last cycle of fixtures.

Inter’s final match before the break came against Bologna. The Nerazzurri squandered a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2.

Given that this was the second match in three that Inter had dropped points – leading them to fall two points behind city rivals AC Milan at the top of the table – Inter will feel that a response is necessary.

Meanwhile, Torino were on the end of a 2-0 defeat in the Derby della Mole against Juventus before the break.

That made it four matches in a row without a win for the Granata.

Therefore, for both teams, Saturday’s match will be an important opportunity to start rebuilding momentum. Particularly considering that it comes right after an international break as a palate cleanser.

Matteo Marchetti To Referee Torino Inter Clash – Luigi Nasca On VAR Duty

The referee for Sunday’s match will be Matteo Marchetti.

Assisting Marchetti in his duties will be Stefano Liberti and Giuseppe Perrotti.

The role of the fourth official, meanwhile, will fall to Antonio Rapuano.

In the VAR booth, Luigi Nasca will oversee the match to ensure to correct any errors by the on-pitch officials.

Assisting Nasca in his duties will be Giacomo Paganaessi.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than refereeing controversy.
