Inter Milan and Yann Sommer got a big win for their Serie A title title by beating Torino.
The Nerazzurri won the match at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino by a 3-0 scoreline.
It was anything but an easy match for Inter. Particularly in the first half, as the Granata applied the pressure.
But second half goals from Marcus Thuram, Lautaro Martinez, and Hakan Calhanoglu made sure the team brought home three points.
Inter Milan goalkeeper Yann Sommer also equalled a Serie A goalkeeping record with the clean sheet.
Football statistics account Opta observed in a Tweet that “Yann #Sommer is the 3rd goalkeeper in the 3 points per win era (since 1994-95) to record 6 clean sheets in his first 9 appearances in #SerieA, after Lupatelli (with Roma between 1999-2000 and 2000-01) and Alisson Becker (with the Giallorossi in 2017-18).
