Marcus Thuram, Niocolo Barella, and Federico Dimarco will all start for Inter Milan in tomorrow’s Serie A match against Roma.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper also report that Francesco Acerbi will return to the lineup in defense.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi decided to give some regular starters a rest in the starting eleven for Tuesday’s Champions League group stage match against Red Bull Salzburg.

Striker Thuram started on the bench. Alexis Sanchez started in attack instead, scoring the match’s opening goal.

Thuram replaced Sanchez midway through the second half.

Meanwhile, Barella also started on the bench. The Italian international came on as a substitute for the start of the second half.

And wingback Diarmco played no part, as Carlos Augusto saw out the entire match on the left flank.

But according to the Gazzetta, all three of Thuram, Barella, and Dimarco will be back in the team tomorrow.

In attack, Thuram will start alongside Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez.

The Frenchman and the Argentine are certainly the two first-choice starters in attack. And they will lead the line against the Giallorossi.

Meanwhile in midfield Barella will be back. The 26-year-old will replace former Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi in the lineup.

Then at left-wingback Dimarco will come back into the starting eleven.

Inter coach Inzaghi will be looking to start more or less his strongest possible eleven for tomorrow evening’s match.

This will also mean a change at the heart of the defense.

Dutch international Stefan de Vrij had started for Inter against Salzburg during the week.

However, the Gazzetta anticipate that de Vrij will drop out of the eleven to face Roma tomorrow. Instead it will be Acerbi who starts at the centre of Inter’s back three.
