Torino & Frosinone Interested In Loaning Young Inter Milan Defender In January

Torino and Frosinone are both interested in loaning in Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck for the second half of the season.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are seriously considering loaning out the German during the January transfer window.

So far this season, Bisseck has not seen much playing time.

In fact, the 22-year-old defender has played just a few minutes in total. These came in the form of very late substitute appearances in Serie A matches.

Bisseck had come off the bench during Inter’s opener against Monza.

He replaced Matteo Darmian in that match after the 33-year-old picked up an injury.

This will perhaps have led to some optimism that Bisseck could play a real role for Inter this season.

But after that, that has hardly been the case.

On the contrary, the German has been a bit-part player.

On the right of the defense, Simone Inzaghi has had Darmian and Benjamin Pavard to select from. And on the left, Francesco Acerbi can shift over.

Moreover, even Federico Dimarco and Carlos Augusto have played more minutes than Bisseck at left centre-back.

Torino & Frosinone Interested In Loaning In Yann Bisseck In January

It’s not exactly a surprise that Bisseck has found playing time hard to come by.

Inter signed the German from Danish club Aarhus as more of a player for the future.

Whilst it’s true that Bisseck had impressed with his displays for Aarhus, the step up to Serie A is a big one.

Therefore, there are questions marks about Bisseck’s role in the Inter project at this stage.

Moreover, given that there are versatile players who can cover all the positions in the backline, it is not as though Bisseck is necessarily a player who Inter need to keep around for the second half of the campaign.

Accordingly, FCIN report, Inter are willing to listen to loan offers for the young German.

The priority would of course be playing time so that Bisseck can find his feet and grow.

And the Nerazzurri are scanning for interest from Serie A in particular. A team in the Italian top flight would be ideal, to prepare Bisseck for life at Inter.

And according to FCIN, there are two teams who have already shown interest.

One is Torino. The Granata are aiming to make a defensive signing in January, as emergency injury cover for Perr Schurrs following the Dutchman’s major knee injury.

And Schurrs is one of the players Torino have looked at as a possibility.

The other team that FCIN name as having an interest in Bisseck is Frosinone.

The newly-promoted team have enjoyed a strong start to the season under Eusebio Di Francesco.

And according to FCIN, the Lazio-based team are interested in adding Bisseck to their ranks in January.
