A report in the Italian media praises Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi for his squad management following last night’s win over RB Salzburg.

Last weekend, the 47-year-old unleashed his strongest line-up in Bergamo against Atalanta and emerged victorious 2-1.

Last night, the Nerazzurri manager introduced some tweaks to his starting XI. He gave Yann Bisseck his full debut in defense, while dropping three stalwarts in the shape of Lautaro Martinez, Nicolo Barella and Federico Dimarco.

But according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, Inzaghi is proving to be a “skilled alchemist” in the way he’s managing his ranks.

The former Lazio tactician introduced Lautaro and Barella in the final half-hour.

The Italian midfielder won a spot kick as his shot struck an opponent’s hand inside the penalty box. This allowed Martinez to break the deadlock and secure a valuable win.

The Nerazzurri now find themselves on top of the Serie A table and have already reached the Champions League Round of 16 with two matches to spare.

Therefore, the pink newspaper highlights the work conducted by the manager since the start of the season.
