Six Inter Milan players have been included in the Italy national team squad for upcoming EURO 2024 qualifiers against North Macedonia and Ukraine.

This is confirmed in the official squad list announcement, via FCInterNews, with Luciano Spalletti having selected the players to be at his disposal during the upcoming international break.

Inter have one more match to go before the break, against Frosinone on Sunday.

Then after this weekend, the Nerazzurri’s squad will disperse once again for the international break.

There are players from a number of national teams represented in Inter’s squad.

However, the largest quotient of internationals are Italian.

This is hardly a surprise. Not just because of the fact that Inter are an Italian club, but also because the club has been building around a core of Italian players in recent years.

From veterans like Francesco Acerbi and Matteo Darmian to younger players like Davide Frattesi and Federico Dimarco, there is a strong Azzurri presence in this Inter team.

And it goes both ways. There will also be significant representation of the Nerazzurri for Italy.

That has been the case for a number of international breaks now. It has been under both Roberto Mancini and Luciano Spalletti.

And once again, there are a number of Inter players in the Italy squad.

Six Inter Players In Italy Squad For North Macedonia & Ukraine Clashes

Italy will play two EURO 2024 qualifying matches during the break.

First on Friday, November 17 the Azzurri will host North Macedonia.

And then, on Monday, November 20, Italy travel to Ukraine for a potentially decisive qualifying match.

There is little room for error after Italy lost to England in their most recent qualifying match.

The Azzurri are three points behind Ukraine as things stand. However, they have a potentially crucial game in hand.

The complete Italy squad that Spalletti has named is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Donnarumma (Paris Saint Germain), Alex Meret (Napoli), Ivan Provedel (Lazio), Guglielmo Vicario (Totthenam);
