Forward Alexis Sanchez feels that Inter Milan are at a “world-class level.”

The 34-year-old Chilean international spoke in the official matchday programme for this evening’s Serie A match against Frosinone, arguing that the Nerazzurri have an obligation to win.

Former Manchester United, Arsenal, and Marseille forward Sanchez re-joined Inter during the summer transfer window.

The Chilean had already spent three seasons with the Nerazzurri. He had been at the club between 2019 and 2022.

During that time, Sanchez helped Inter to win the Serie A title, the Coppa Italia, and the Supercoppa Italiana.

Particularly in the latter case, Sanchez was a key figure. The Chilean scored the winner in the dying moments of extra time against Juventus.

But in the summer of 2022, Sanchez left Inter.

The forward made the move to Marseille, enjoying one very prolific season in Ligue 1.

But then evidently Sanchez decided he had “unfinished business” at the San Siro. During the summer window, the 34-year-old re-signed for the Nerazzurri on a free transfer.

Alexis Sanchez Argues Inter At “World-Class Level”

“Inter are a strong team,” Sanchez said. “They are at a world-class level.”

“The team, has grown a lot in the last few years,” the Chilean said of the Nerazzurri.

“It has great fans who always support us,” he went on. ‘They give their lives for this club, and a player who comes here has to do so to win.”

Sanchez also gave his thoughts on the most important goals that he has scored.

“My most important goal has to be the one I scored in the final against Argentina which gave Chile the first Copa America in its history,” the forward said.

“And then there’s the one that I scored in El Clasico against Real Madrid.”

“And obviously the one that I scored in the 121st minute against Juventus,” Sanchez added.
