The fitness of Inter Milan wingback Juan Cuadrado is a major doubt for the Serie A clash with Juventus after the international break.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Former Fiorentina, Chelsea, and Bianconeri wingback Cuadrado has not played for Inter since the return from the October international break.
In fact, the Colombian has not been in a matchday squad since then.
Cuadrado had also not been part of his national team’s squad during the last break.
The last time that the veteran wingback played was in a thirty-minute substitute appearance against Bologna.
That came in a 2-2 Serie A draw at the San Siro. That was in fact Inter’s final match before the October international break.
And according to the Gazzetta, Cuadrado will not be back in time for the team’s final match before the November break.

Cuadrado’s issues have been tendon problem in his calf.
The Colombian has been dealing with tendinitis ever since the September break, which was the first international break of the season.
Prior to that, Cuadrado had appeared in all of Inter’s first three matches of the season.
The 35-year-old, who joined on a free transfer in the summer after his contract with Juventus expired, made substitute appearances against the likes of Monza, Cagliari, and Fiorentina.
But ever since then, things have been tough for Cuadrado.
The Colombian has not necessarily been dealing with a major issue. But his tendon problems have been a bit nebulous, which has meant it’s been hard to gauge when he can recover.
Cuadrado missed Sunday’s match against Frosinone.
And the 35-year-old is not part of the Colombia squad during the international break. He’s staying behind to work on his recovery in training.
Cuadrado wants to be fit to face his old side Juventus, who he spent eight years playing for.
But at the moment, the Gazzetta report, it looks as though that might be too soon.
