Former Inter Milan midfielder Stephane Dalmat believes that the goal Federico Dimarco scored against Frosinone was like a “PlayStation goal.”

The Frenchman spoke on his Instagram account, via FCInterNews, also giving his thoughts on the Nerazzurri’s chances in the Champions League.

Inter wingback Dimarco surely scored a goal-of-the-season candidate against Frosinone over the weekend.

The 26-year-old was barely across the halfway line when he decided to try and chip Giallazzurri keeper Stefano Turati.

And Dimarco’s effort proved to be nothing short of spectacular.

The ball sailed through the Frosinone half, dipping just in time to make it under the crossbar of the Frosinoine goal.

There was more than a hint of the absurd to the strike. It almost took a second to register what had even happened – for the players on the pitch, the fans in the stand, and everyone watching on television.

As former midfielder Dalmat points out, there was an air of something that only happens in a video game.

Dalmat: Federico Dimarco Scored A “Playstation Goal” Vs Frosinone

Dalmat said that Dimarco’s goal was “Incredible.”

“I’ve seen that type of goal during my career, but so far down the flank it’s stratospheric. It’s like something you’d see on a PlayStation.”

Dalmat also noted that he is “Happy that the team won. They played well.”

He continued that “Last season Inter lost or drew matches. This season they have the kind of consistency that they had in the second part of last season.”

“The players who arrived in the summer have made it a very strong squad,” Dalmat continued.

“This is Inter’s year,” he predicted. “We can win the Scudetto.”

“The match against Juve can be important but not decisive,” he said. “The league still has a long way to go.”

“And even in the Champions League we have more confidence. Everyone is scared of us.”

“We all wanted Inter to become the same team in Europe as they were years ago. And that’s happening.”

“Congratulations again to the players and fans,” Dalmat said. “Without you it wouldn’t be the same.”
