Inter Milan wingback Denzel Dumfries expresses his pride at donning the Black-and-Blue stripes.

The 27-year-old is currently on international duty after receiving a call-up from the Netherlands.

The former PSV Eindhoven star has cemented himself as a key player on the right flank for both club and country.

On Saturday night, he’ll be looking to help his nation overcome the Republic of Ireland in their penultimate Euro 2024 qualifier.

A win over the Irish in Amsterdam should be enough for the Dutch to book their spot in next summer’s tournament.

But even while preparing for his nation’s upcoming tilt, Dumfries still had time to discuss his ever-growing rapport with his club and its supporters.

The wingback reveals that he feels at home at Inter while praising the club’s fanbase.

“I really feel at home at Inter,” said the Netherlands international in an interview with NOS via FcInterNews.

“Milano is a beautiful city and our fans are fantastic. My family and I feel at home. I’m proud to be able to play at such a great club.”

On another note, Dumfries insists that winning the Scudetto title is the club’s primary objective this season.

“We have the clear objective of winning the league title. This is what I’m focusing on.”

The Nerazzurri are currently leading the Serie A standings. They are two points ahead of their closest chasers Juventus who also happen to be their next opponents.

As for Dumfries, he has gradually cemented himself as a pillar at the club he joined back in 2021.

This season, he has thus far scored two goals and provided his teammates with four assists in his 14 appearances across all competitions.
