Inter Milan have no intention of parting ways with Matteo Darmian anytime soon. The two parties should renew their collaboration for at least another season.

The 33-year-old joined the Nerazzurri in 2020 and has been a reliable servant ever since.

The Italian is originally a fullback but has been deployed in various playing positions under the guidance of Antonio Conte and Simone Inzaghi.

Last season, Darmian occupied the right centre-back role in Milan Skriniar’s absence.
