Inter Milan are reportedly monitoring four players who will likely become free agents by the end of the season, including Mehdi Taremi and Tomas Soucek.

The Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta has a reputation for poaching some of the best available free agents on the market.

The Serie A giants have already signed the likes of Marcus Thuram and Hakan Calhanoglu for free in recent years.

According to Calciomercato via FcInter1908, Inter are keeping tabs on four out-of-contract players.

The first on the list is Porto striker Mehdi Taremi. The 31-year-old was a target for the Beneamata last summer. However, a deal never materialized, so the Nerazzurri ended up signing Marko Arnautovic instead.

Nevertheless, the Iranian remains on Inter’s shortlist. As the source tells it, the player prefers a move to Serie A over the Premier League, which could give Inter a significant advantage.

Then we have Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski. The negotiations between the Pole and the Italian champions have recently stalled, opening the door for Juventus and Inter.

The two arch-rivals are eager to pounce on the opportunity to sign the 29-year-old. However, a contract renewal with Napoli remains a possibility.

Tomas Soucek is another Nerazzurri target for the middle of the park. The Czech has been a stalwart at West Ham United for several years but is now looking to embark on a new adventure.

As the source tells it, Simone Inzaghi is an admirer of the 28-year-old, while Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio personally scouted on several occasions.

Finally, Inter could bolster their backline by signing Lille defender Tiago Djalo. The former AC Milan youngster was close to joining the Nerazzurri last season before sustaining a cruciate ligament injury.

Nonetheless, the Italians are still keen on the 23-year-old’s services and could move as early as January to beat the competition for the defender’s services.
