The Inter Milan stars have been given some interesting ratings in EA Sports FC 24. So what would the ideal line-up look like?

In September, EA Sports released the first edition of the series that succeeded the legendary FIFA video game series.

Naturally, the new branding invoked curiosity and anticipation among gamers.

Nevertheless, some things never change, like the never-ending debates caused by the ratings that the game’s creators allocate to each player.

As is often the case, some grades would be deemed too low, and others too high.

Nevertheless, gamers will eventually have to cast their own feelings and assessments aside and go with the flow, unless they decide to buy EA Sports FC24 coins.

So as an Inter supporter, how would you build a starting line-up based on the ratings handed to the Nerazzurri stars?

In the real world, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi never compromises when it comes to his favorite 3-5-2 formation.

So let’s begin by building a line-up that adopts the 47-year-old’s tactical philosophy.

Building Inzaghi-Like Inter Milan XI

While Yann Sommer (84) is the obvious choice between the posts, four defenders compete for three spots at the back.

Alessandro Bastoni (85) is a must-have thanks to a significantly superior rating. Benjamin Pavard (83) and Francesco Acerbi (83) are the favorites to complete the backline. Nevertheless, Stefan de Vrij (82) offers a viable alternative.

On the wings, Federico Dimarco (82) is the ultimate option on the left. But on the opposite side, Denzel Dumfries (81) is only the slight favorite over Juan Cuadrado (80).

The Colombian possesses comprehensively superior stats in terms of pace and dribbling, whereas the Dutchman offers more defensive solidity and physical strength.

In the middle of the park, Nicolo Barella (86) and Hakan Calhanoglu (85) are undisputable choices. Henrikh Mkhitaryan (81) slightly tips Davide Frattesi for the third and final midfield spot.

Nevertheless, the most controversial choice resides in the attacking options. Unsurprisingly, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez (87) has the highest rating among his teammates.

However, it’s the identity of his striking partner that raises eyebrows. In real life, Marcus Thuram has cemented himself as a key player up front. Yet, the Frenchman only received a rating of 79.

Inter fans might argue that the World Cup finalist is amongst the most undervalued players in the game.

Curiously, Nerazzurri fans may turn to Marko Arnautovic (80) who boasts a higher rating than Thuram.

Alternative Inter Milan Line-up

However, if you wish to field the eleven highest-ranked Inter players in the game, then you’ll have to abandon Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 formation, and perhaps opt for a 4-4-1-1 line-up.

This formation would allow you to capitalize on the squad’s defensive strength, by fielding Pavard and Bastoni as fullbacks, with de Vrij and Acerbi in the center.

Dimarco and Dumfries would operate as wingers, while Mkhitaryan can play as an attacking midfielder behind Lautaro, thus dropping both Thuram and Arnautovic.
