A report in the Italian media reveals the figures that Lautaro Martinez is expected to earn once he renews his contract with Inter Milan.

The Argentina international has been firing on all cylinders this season. He currently leads the Serie A goal-scoring charts with 12 strikes from as many appearances.

The 26-year-old has now cemented himself as the captain and main talisman at the club.

So although his current deal runs until 2026, the management would like to secure his services with a long-term contract.

The two parties have been working on a new agreement. The player’s agent Alejandro Camano has repeatedly spoken about the player’s desire to extend his collaboration with the Serie A giants.

The Nerazzurri captain currently earns 6 million euros per season as net wages. Nevertheless, a new contract should include a pay rise.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport via FcInter1908, Lautaro will pocket a yearly salary between 7.5 and 8 million euros after penning a new deal. The contract will run until 2028.

Most fans and observers would feel that the player’s exploits on the pitch justify this wage adjustment.
