Inter Milan CEO Beppe Marotta has reportedly scheduled a meeting with his Monza counterpart Adriano Galliani to discuss Andrea Colpani.

The 24-year-old has been plying his trade at the U-Power Stadium since 2020, but has now taken his game to a whole new level.

The attacking midfielder’s surprising goal-scoring form saw him netting six strikes in the first 12 rounds of the Serie A campaign.

The players’s exploits earned him his maiden call-up for the Italian national team. However, he has yet to make his international debut with the senior squad.

For their part, the Nerazzurri have been monitoring the player’s progress.

According to Calciomercato via FcInter1908, Marotta will meet with Monza CEO Galliani to understand the feasibility of a transfer.

The source claims that the player’s current value is around 20 million euros.

However, Inter isn’t the only top Serie A side keeping tabs on the situation. As the report tells it, Juventus and Lazio are also observing the breakout Monza star.

Inter Milan CEO Beppe Marotta Preparing To Discuss Andrea Colpani With Monza

Colpani is an Atalanta youth product who made the nearby switch to Monza in 2020. After spending two years on loan, the Biancorossi secured his services on a permanent basis.

Galliani also made sure his club maintained strong leverage on the situation by tying the Brescia native to a long-term contract running until 2028.

Colpani is a left-footed player who can play as a central midfielder. Nevertheless, he has been thriving as a right-attacking midfielder in Raffaele Palladino’s 3-4-2-1 formation.
