Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has received a nomination along with eight of his players for the Gran Gala del Calcio AIC awards.
This event will recognize the best performers in Italian football for the 2022/23 season.
The ceremony takes place on the 4th of December.
Today, the organizers announced the nominees in a press conference held at the BonelliErede headquarters, reports FcInterNews.
The Nerazzurri were heavily present in the nominations, beginning with the Best Coach award.
Simone Inzaghi will compete for the prize against Italy coach Luciano Spalletti who led Napoli towards the Scudetto title. Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri completes the three-man shortlist.
Moreover, 24 players were nominated for the Best XI Line-up of the season, including eight from Inter.
Former Inter star Andre Onana is in the running for the Best Goalkeeper award. The Man United custodian competes against Mike Maignan and Guglielmo Vicario.
Francesco Acerbi, Alessandro Bastoni, Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco are all competing for spots at the back.

Midfield duo Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu are also in the running. The same goes for Inter captain Lautaro Martinez.
Inter also received a nomination for the Best Club award alongside Napoli and Fiorentina.
Finally, Nerazzurri youngster Giovanni Fabbian is a nominee for the Best Young Serie B Player award following his exploits at Reggina. The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Bologna.
