The statistics demonstrate that Inter Milan wingback Juan Cuadrado had an impressive cameo off the bench against his old team Juventus on Sunday evening.
Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, highlight the 35-year-old’s performance.
The story of Cuadrardo’s return to the Allianz Stadium was always likely to have as much to do with factors off of the pitch than on it.
The Juventus faithful voiced their displeasure with the Colombian.
As soon as he prepared to come onto the pitch for his first Derby d’Italia in an Inter shirt, Cuadrado received boos.
And those jeers continued every time that the former Chelsea and Fiorentina man touched the ball.
Clearly the Bianconeri fans did not appreciate seeing a player who’d represented their shirt for eight years playing in that of their great rivals.
But as Tuttosport note, the boos did not stop Cuadrado from impressing.

Perhaps part of the reason that Bianconeri supporters jeered Cuadrado was that they knew better than anyone else what he was capable of providing on the pitch.
More often than not, when the Colombian got on the ball, he did something useful.
This included completing ten of his eleven passes.
And the 35-year-old also won four out of his five duels with Juventus players.
There was no love lost between Cuadrado and his old teammates. Both relished some full-blooded challenges – and more often than not, it was the now-Inter player who emerged with the ball.
The way that the Colombian rode a strong shoulder-to-shoulder tackle from striker Moise Kean represented this perfectly.
And Cuadrado also completed more crosses than any other Inter player. He lived up to his reputation for accurate deliveries into the box.
That despite the fact that the 35-year-old was only fit enough for around twenty minutes of action.
What was clear was that Inter signed Cuadrado for a reason.
The Colombian’s arrival was always going to be controversial. Neither Inter nor Juventus fans have warmed up to the idea of Cuadrado as a Nerazzurri player.
And there have been fitness issues that have raised questions about the veteran’s contribution.
But one thing is clear. Even just from the statistics.
When Cuadrado plays, he can still make a very positive difference.
