Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez and Lille’s Tiago Djalo are among the transfers Inter Milan are already starting to line up for next summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

There are still a number of months to go before next summer transfer window opens.

It is not even December yet. Inter are still just starting to really get going in Serie A and the Champions League – the team have not even played their first domestic cup matches yet.

But off the pitch, the work never stops.

And the Nerazzurri’s directors are aiming to put things in place for next summer transfer window already.

And as the Corriere notes, there are two targets in particular who Inter are already working on securing.

Nandez & Djalo Already Among Inter Targets For Next Summer

In midfield and on the flanks, Inter have marked out Cagliari midfielder Nandez as a target.

The 27-year-old Uruguayan international could be just the player to bolster the squad depth.

Nandez’s versatility could be the key reason why Inter want him.

The Uruguayn has already been on Inter’s radar as a potential replacement for Achraf Hakimi at wingback in the summer of 2021.

And now, reports have suggested – and Nandez’s agent has confirmed – Inter are back in talks for the Uruguayan.

Meanwhile, in defense, Inter are pushing strongly for Lille defender Djalo.

Like Nandez, the 23-year-old is a player who the Nerazzurri have already considered signing in the past.

In the case of Djalo, it was an injury that stopped Inter’s initial pursuit dead in its tracks.

But the Nerazzurri have taken a similar approach with Djalo as they had done with Marcus Thuram.

Inter have remained in active contact with the Portuguese’s representatives.

This has been to lay the groundwork for a possible free transfer move next summer.
