Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi earned the highest grade among his teammates in the Champions League thriller against Benfica.

Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi started with a second-string formation since his side had already qualified for the Round of 16.

However, the Portuguese overran the Italians in the first half, with Joao Mario scoring a hattrick against his former side.

Nevertheless, the Serie A giants mounted a stunning comeback in the second period. Marko Arnautovic, Frattesi and Alexis Sanchez all scored to end the thrilling encounter in a 3-3 result.

After the match, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FcInterNews) handed Frattesi the highest rating among the Inter Starting XI.

The former Sassuolo star found the back of the net with a fabulous volley, thus earning a rating of 7/10.

Marcus Thuram and Nicolo Barella earned the same grade for their second-half cameos.

The Frenchman won the spot kick that culminated in the equalizer while the Italian midfielder almost won it in added time but his shot crashed against the post.

Sanchez and substitute Federico Dimarco both received 6.5/10 for their contributions, while Emil Audero, Carlos Augusto and Francesco Acerbi got 6/10. The same goes for coach Inzaghi.
