Napoli winger Jesper Lindstrom and midfielder Piotr Zielinski are back in training ahead of tomorrow’s Serie A match against Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Napoli and Inter go head-to-head in a match with major Serie A title implications.

For the Partenopei a victory would represent an opportunity to haul back the gap at the top of the table.

A tough start to the season has already put Napoli’s title defense in question. But Walter Mazzarri’s arrival as coach for his second spell could represent a turning point.

Meanwhile for Inter, there will be hope of regaining their lead at the top of the table.

Juventus’s victory away to Monza yesterday saw the Bianconeri go top of the table. At least for the time being.

Inter can restore their two-point buffer with a win tomorrow.

And a draw would mean that the Nerazzurri would be level on points with Juventus, who in fact face Napoli in their next match.

Lindstrom & Zielinski Return To Training For Napoli AHead Of Inter Clash

Partenopei coach Mazzarri can count on a couple extra players for tomorrow’s match.

One is Danish former Eintracht Frankfurt winger Lindstrom.

The 23-year-old has not yet made much of an impact since his summer move from the Bundesliga.

Seven appearances and no starts have not seen Lindstrom really establish himself in a Napoli coach. But the change in coach could represent a real opportunity for the Dane.

Lindstrom was out for Mazzarri’s first two matches.

He was recovering from a shin injury.

But Lindstrom is back in training, and could aim to impress Mazzarri enough that he gets out on the pitch against Inter tomorrow.

Meanwhile, midfielder Zielinski had an injury scare after a heavy challenge from former Roma and Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger in this week’s Champions League match against Real Madrid.

But the Pole – who is reportedly a transfer target for Inter – is back in training.
