Defender Alessandro Bastoni will be back in training for Inter Milan tomorrow evening ahead of Saturday’s Serie A clash with Udinese.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.

Bastoni has now been out of action for three matches for Inter.

The matches that the Italian international, missed were important ones.

Having been out for two key EURO 2024 qualifiers with Italy during the break, the former Parma and Atalanta defender also missed two massive top-of-the-table clashes for Inter.

The Nerazzurri didn’t necessarily miss Bastoni too much during matches against Juventus and Napoli.

In the match away to Juventus, Inter played out a cagey draw.

Then on Sunday against Napoli Inter snatched an emphatic 3-0 victory.

This was hardly a bad haul from the sequence of fixtures.

But on Sunday against Napoli, Inter lost Stefan de Vrij to injury.

The Dutchman will be out for around three weeks in all likelihood. Therefore, Inter will be anxious to get Bastoni back as soon as possible.

Alessandro Bastoni To Return To Full Training For Inter Tomorrow

In this respect, Inter have some good news.

Bastoni should certainly be back in time for Saturday’s match against Udinese.

The 24-year-old is not quite back in full training with the rest of the squad yet.

According to Sky, Bastoni continued to work individually today.

The Italian international trained based on personalized recovery program in order to put the finishing touches on his recovery program.

But tomorrow, Bastoni will be able to return to training with the group in order to start to get reintegrated with the team and build match-fitness ahead of Saturday’s match.

Therefore, the 24-year-old will have three days of training to prepare for the match against Udinese.

What is not entirely clear is whether or not Bastoni will be fit enough to start. But he will certainly be in the squad.
