Federico Dimarco feels that the Serie A title race between Inter Milan and Juventus makes for excellent spectacle, but isn’t easy from inside.

The 26-year-old spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN after the Nerazzurri’s 4-0 win over Udinese, via FCInterNews.

Inter reclaimed their spot at the top of the Serie A table this evening by beating Juventus.

But the margin at the top is razor-thin.

Inter are just two points ahead of Juventus in second. That means that one result would be all that it would take for the Bianconeri to catch up or overtake the Nerazzurri.

Juventus are having to keep putting the pressure on. And Inter are having to keep avoiding potential setbacks to keep the Turin side at bay.

Juventus’s win against Napoli yesterday was a perfect way to assert themselves once again in the title race.

And Inter’s emphatic victory over Udinese was the ideal response. Neither of the two teams are likely to make it easy for each other.

Federico Dimarco On Inter Vs Udinese Serie A Title Race

“I think that for the neutral it’s a great spectacle,” Dimarco said of the title race with Juventus.

“But from inside, it’s not easy.”

“But we shouldn’t make the mistake of getting distracted by the other teams. Otherwise we’ll start to drop points.”

“We have to only think about ourselves,” he went on.

And of the atmosphere behind the scenes, Dimarco said that “There’s a great atmosphere in the dressing room.”

“Bastoni, Barella, and others. We love to play pranks on each other,” he went on.

Regarding the win over Udinese, Dimarco said that “You get more joy when you’;re always on the move.”

“You try to create passing lanes for your teammates,” he continued.

“And everything is easier when you’re in a strong team like this.”

Dimarco noted that “I try to give my best in every match, and then what comes comes.”

“If I score I’m happy, if a teammate scores I’m happy. The important thing is that the team maintains this level and the results arrive.”
