Former Lazio midfielder Marco Parolo believes that Inter Milan are one of the teams in the best form in all of European football.
Parolo gave his thoughts to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews.
Right now, the wind certainly appears to be in Inter’s sails.
The Nerazzurri had won every one of their matches in both Serie A and the Champions League between the October and November international breaks.
Upon returning from the break Inter secured a gritty 1-1 draw away to Juventus. Then there was a wild comeback draw away to Benfica.
And in the two matches since then, Inter are back to winning ways. And in quite emphatic style.
The Nerazzurri took three points away from the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona against reigning Italian champions Napoli.
And they did so via an eye-watering 3-0 scoreline.
And then Inter followed that up with a 4-0 thrashing of Udinese over the weekend.
That scoreline hardly flattered the Nerazzurri for the degree to which they dominated proceedings.

This evening, Inter will have the chance to secure top spot in their Champions League group.
The Nerazzurri face a Real Sociedad team who gave them one of their toughest matches of the entire season in the reverse fixture.
But they do so, crucially, at the San Siro in front of their fans.
This evening’s match could be a real chance for Inter to confirm the impression that they are a team in the ascendancy.
Parolo gave his thoughts on Inter’s current form. “This is a moment where Inter are in great form,” he said. “Physically and mentally speaking.”
“They’ve found solidity as a group with these players,” he continued.
“After qualifying for the Champions League round of sixteen , they were able to concentrate more on the league.”
“At the moment they’re one of the most in-form teams in Europe,” Parolo argued.
