Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is in a hopeful mood ahead of a massive second half to the season across multiple competitions.

The coach spoke at the club’s annual Christmas party, via FCInterNews. He emphasized the importance of keeping the momentum going into the next phase of the campaign.

Inter have certainly enjoyed a positive start to the season.

Whilst there is a bit of disappointment at failing to top their Champions League ahead of Real Sociedad, there is an overall sense that things are well on track.

The Nerazzurri are leading the way in Serie A.

Inter have scored the most goals in the Italian top flight, and conceded the fewest. This has seen the team earn their place at the top of the table.

And in all of the Champions League, the Coppa Italia, and the Supercoppa Italiana, massive knockout matches will soon await Inzaghi and his team.

Inter Coach Simone Inzaghi Hopeful Ahead Of Second Half Of Season

Speaking at the club Christmas party, Inzaghi remarked that “I thank everyone, from the President to the club directors. From the coaching staff to my players.”

Inzaghi continued that “We’ve had an incredible few months.”

“But the next few months will be the vital ones ones,” the coach added.

“But looking at everything, I’m hopeful for the future,” Inzaghi made clear.

At the moment, nothing is done for Inter.

The Nerazzurri have been in a strong position in the Serie A table in the past under Inzaghi, and then failed to make good on it and win the title.

But there is a sense that this is a different Inter.

Inzaghi and his players have learned the difficult lessons. And the team reached the Champions League final last season.

Now the coach and his team must prove that their start to the season is sustainable.
