Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Davy Klaassen and Kristjan Asllani in midfield, and Marko Arnautovic in attack against Bologna. This evening’s Coppa Italian round of sixteen clash is scheduled for 21.00 CET.

Inzaghi has decided to make six changes in total to the team that beat Lazio over the weekend.

Firstly, in goal Emil Audero starts. That means that Yann Sommer gets a rest.

Sampdoria-owned goalkeeper Audero gets his second start of the season.

Secondly, in defense Inzaghi has not made any changes.

The Inter coach’s decisions are still limited by some injuries. Therefore, all of Yann Bisseck, Alessandro Bastoni, and Francesco Acerbi keep their places.

Then, at right wing-back Matteo Darmian retains his place as well.

However, on the right Federico Dimarco gets a rest. Therefore, Brazilian international Carlos Augusto starts.

Big Changes In Midfield, Arnautovic & Lautaro Lead The Line

In midfield, Inzaghi has completely changed things up.

That means that all of Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan drop to the bench.

Accordingly, there are opportunities for Davy Klaassen and Kristjan Asllani to start.

Fourthly, in attack, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez starts.

However, the Argentine’s usual strike partner Marcus Thuram does not start alongside him. Instead, it is former Rossoblu striker Marko Arnautovic starting against his former side.
